This scheme is currently on hold. A big thank you to all the 550 volunteers who participated helping 100 organisations. We have kept the site accessible, just in case it might be useful again and as everyone at Ellwood Atfield is proud to have tried to help, back when everything seemed so bleak.

CommsVolunteers.org went live on 30th March in response to the Covid-19. We wanted to help organisations who provide critical services during this emergency.

We couldn’t re-tool and make PPE or supply doctors or nurses. However, we do know communications.

Everyone behind CommsVolunteers.org is donating their time, energy, and expertise to help organisations who urgently need support with their communications and lobbying. Get involved now!

“The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on everyone of us and for communications professionals this scheme is a contribution to the national effort. I’m really grateful to all who volunteer, helping NHS facilities across the country. Please do think about joining the scheme.”

Simon Enright
Director of Communications – NHS England and NHS Improvement

We connect (free of charge), expert communicators (volunteering their services) with critical organisations who either cannot afford their help or are simply too snowed under communicating the fight against Covid-19.

We are offering this service to charities and other organisations involved in health, social care, education, and social housing, see news for examples. These organisations might need extra help with employee communications, crisis communications, or lobbying local and national government.

Please help raise awareness of this service by sharing and using #C19commsvolunteers.
